Waubeesee Lake is located just west of Hwy 36, near Wind Lake. This lake has a surface of 129 acres and a maximum depth of 73 ft. The shoreland is privately owned and is sandy and excellent for swimming. There is a diverse panfish population. Waubeesee is the deepest lake in Racine County.

Community Profile
Every year on the weekend before Labor Day, celebrate at the Muskego Community Festival. with free admission, it hosts a variety of choices from live music to many children's activities and carnival rides. In July, the Settlement Centre has Historical Days, with re-enactments and a pancake breakfast. Free to the public every Wednesday at Idle Isle Park on Little Muskego Lake the WaterBugs put on a professional style water-ski show.

- Here you find the Edgewood Golf Course and Longnecks Brewpub, which sports indoor vollyball, food and home brewed beer. Just a short ride up the road from the cottage.

- Nestled between the larger communities of Burlington and Waterford, Rochester has been able to retain a unique small town charm. Visit the Rochester Public Library.

- Named for Benjamin Franklin, this town has rural beginnings. Today, it has the ammenities of a larger city with a small town atmosphere. Banks, hardware, drug stores and gifts shops all can be found in Franklin with a population slightly over 32,000.

- Chocolate City USA, the home of Nestle's Chocolate Company.
